Hi, I’m Anthony

I’m a photographer, educator, and family man based in New Zealand. I’m passionate about helping photographers get the most from their images through creative shooting and powerful, practical editing. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your craft, my goal is to help you learn new techniques, build confidence, and enjoy every step of your photography journey.

My Journey

I moved to New Zealand in 2006 and began my professional photography journey shortly after. Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of photographic genres, giving me a broad and practical understanding of the craft. Those experiences now shape what I share with other photographers through my free tutorials on YouTube — across both my Photo Editing and Architectural Photography channels — and in my online photo editing course.

Education

With a strong artistic background and a degree in Computer Graphics, I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of art and technology. That education gave me a unique advantage as photography transitioned into the digital era. I’ve been using Photoshop since the early ’90s and Lightroom since version 1, so I’ve seen firsthand how digital editing tools have evolved — and how they can transform a photographer’s workflow.

These days, I love giving back and sharing what I’ve learned along the way. My focus is on helping photographers refine their skills, develop their creative eye, and gain confidence in both photography and digital post-production.

Over the years, I’ve been honoured to be a finalist for New Zealand Wedding Photographer of the Year and to receive awards in several photography categories, including multiple NZIPP Gold Iris Awards for both portraiture and landscape photography. I’m also proud to hold the title of Master of Photography from the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography

Maisie The Dog

Maisie is a friendly miniature poodle who’s been part of the family since 2014.
Always up for a stroll or a nap in the sun, she’s become a much-loved presence in our home.
